North Crestone Campground
Access: From the Town of Crestone, go north 1.2 miles on Forest Road #950
Setting and Attractions: The Campground is situated at the base of the Sangre de Cristos in a steep, rocky, narrow valley. N. Crestone Creek, which offers fishing, runs alongside all the campsites. At the end of the campground is the trailhead for N. Crestone Creek Trail #744. Elevation is 8,300 feet.

Considerations: This campground is operated as a full service fee site from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Cost is $9.00 a night. After Labor Day through October 9, the cost is $4.50
